Life is Exhuasting.

Brian, I'm sorry I have not updated the blog. To be honest I've been burned out. I just realized that since on my trip. The only rest I've truly have had was in Toronto, Canada. After Canadia it was full throttle ahead, skating, hanging out, drinking, laughing, smoking massive amounts of cigarettes, driving, redbulling, not sleeping, eating, running, loving every minute of life. When I touched down in Houston Texas, three weeks ago, I loved too much. I think I was two french fries away from a heart attack. I was blazing through life and it finally caught up with me. I hit the wall, just plain exhausted. I have so many interesting things to share (well, interesting to me anyway) Hundreds of photos to post, people to introduce, more hugs and some other funny random stuff... but I couldn't put it down in writing... well we all know I can't write, even on a good day but you know what I mean (wink). I'm in Utah for the next two to three weeks and my goal is to get in all kinds of productive.I'll try tell you guys everything I've done. Hope you guys find it fun and interesting. Now its updated, Blog on.

Kicking It Old School

My mother busted out some pictures. Funny, cool and amazing... it's alway nice to go down memory lane with family. :)

My Father

This is Mr. Juan Bunyi Jr. The O.G. Gangster. This is the first time I've ever seen this picture. Papa Bunyi as a young buck.

Papa Bunyi a little older but still gangster.

yeah I grew into my mole, taken during my prep school graduation. The mole is located on the other side of my nose. "look, I had hair".

Speaking of hair, who said Asians couldn't have a nice flat top. I frontier'd the Asian flats, took a few tries before I succeeded. You have to train the hair to stand up straight... "man I miss having hair. Oh no is that a mustache?"

That's it for now... I'll hook up the Mama Bunyi pics tomorrow.

Aka P.I.

This is Mother Bunyi

Her name is Filipinas Bunyi, beautiful isn't she, aka P.I. Don't let her looks fool you she has been through hell and back, just imagine 9 kids + my father. She is a tough one alright. I'm just learning that she was a traveler too. She loves it, she did a half the world trip once, with the high societies of the Philippines (Marcos Days). I don't know how she got hooked up with them and I really don't want to know.

Actually I also have a brother, Jay, who is a wanderer. He is currently in Saudi Arabia working, but when he was home in the Philippines, I heard he would disappear months at a time traveling the province, living in shacks and working odd jobs. This was before he got married. Now he is strapped down and trying to be a good father. That is cool in my book.

Having Technical Difficulties...

Having some connection problems at my sisters house. It keeps blinking in and out. They have a DSL connection, didn't have problem with it last December when I worked in Utah for two weeks. I don't know what the problem is but it is. Just in case you can't get in touch with me or I don't write back.

One Month and Six Days...

...of smoke free Martin. What respect and a promise can do to a persons life. I've broken a lot of promises before, this is one I intend to keep.

Found Something To Share

Just wanted to share a few things I found online.

Shows on Youtube:
Inside The Actors Studio: Dave Chappell: Chappell is awesome as a comedian but after watching this I became a fan of the person. I also like him cause I occupied the same office he had at Comedy Central.

Jeff Dunham: Achmed the Dead Terrorist (Comedian), this guy is super funny, just watch it... I kill you!

Music:
Monitoba: heard one song and liked it, still waiting on a copy of the album.
Brittle Star: kinda like the Sundays

This is it for now... hope you find something you can enjoy. I'll try to post other things to share in the future.

Not Like The Last Time.

Its so weird to be home because everything seems to be the same but it feels very different. I've been having a hard time finding a reason to be unhappy in the past two and half weeks. The ending to this chapter of my life seems to have come to full circle and I'm glad to report that it ends with a happy note. I'm catching up with a lot of the same people and I'm going to pretty much the same places but experiencing it with a smiling attitude makes so much of a difference. Hope to catch up with everyone soon.

Hello Everyone.

Its been a very long time since my last entry. So much has happened in my life since then... but before my slacking gets any worse I just wanted to say hello and take the time to say "thanks". I'll do my best to clue everyone in the yumminess of attending my first professional soccer game, my trip to California... Andrews & Angels wedding, Nephews and niece graduating, post up pictures of my new bicycle and art pieces, tell you guys about new friends and how I'm reconnecting with the old. Hopefully i'll get to them all this weekend. I am fine and well.

The more I think about everyone and everywhere, the more I appreciate now. I love you all. (ops is that too much... oh well)

Pictures Uploaded

Uploaded a few pictures on Picasa, these are picture of my trips and experiences during the last few months. check em out an enjoi.

My first professional soccer game
courtesy of Ann and Kellie... attending the game it was me, Kellie and Julia. Dynamo (Houston) vs Dallas.

My 12 day trip to California to meet up with friends and to attend a wedding of a good friend. Thank you Bern, Piter, Jud, Andrew & Angel, Angel's Family & friends, Ron & Stacey, Jess & Vinny and Dan. It as an awesome time and California stole my heart. I shall return to stay.

Here are some flicks of New Jersey and Jen. I took a weekend to spend some time with Jen Conde. It was a great time and amazing weekend. I will admit it was strange sometimes but good strange.

Happy birthday to me and happy anniversary to Kellie & Paolo. Our camping trip to the Guadalupe river to celebrate these special occasions. It was a great trip, air conditioned tent, frogs, fish, beer, tubing, snapping turtles, floating coolers, new friends and a giant crawfish.

Unfortunately, when we came back from that camping trip my AC unit at my apartment broke while I was away and I was temporarily placed at a model home while management waited for the labor day weekend to pass to fix my AC. I was placed in a model home, fully furnished. It was interesting to stay there for a few days, it felt like a nuclear test site. Everything was fake, fully furnished house pictures and all with empty drawers and closet. As much as it was fun to play house, I couldn't wait to get back to my humbe apartment...

ok, I think that is it for now... I'll attempt to add comments this week.

In the beginning of my 6 month sabbatical, I started up Everywhereproject.com to keep my family and friends as part of the experience. The project is to see every thing, go every where, to learn as much as I can and to try my best to share the experience with everyone in my life during the 6 month hiatus. It sounds easy but trust me, it wasn't. The months came and went. What was supposed to be a 6 month project has now become more of a way of life. I realized that life just became better through the project. Hope you guys enjoy the way I see the world and thank you.

My name is Martin Luther Banez Bunyi and this is my project.
